Dear Veterans,
I am very thankful for your service on my behalf. I am safer today and sleep safe tonight largely due to people like you who have gone through hell during your service in many hostile places. I am very sorry that so many of you are coming home deeply harmed by the stresses of war and "police actions". I have suffered with ptsd since my teens due to abuse and it gives me some faint idea of the horrors you have experienced. I hate that you gave so much and lost so much. Just going there makes you heroes, I could never have done what you did. I know I don't know. I do know I care about you and hope that you will find your way back to peace and to a life you can live with joy. Thank you so so so much, Leslie Ann

For me the price has been worth it, even though I don't believe that sometimes I know it was my calling and the PTSD can not take away the good things that were accomplished over there with my help.
Thank you for your support, without folks like you we would be much worse off. |
