The article in the anchored area of this forum tells that a key for ptsd ppl is to remember all the details of their trauma ... suggesting that the drug ecstasy might be a way to get there.
Well, I don't need any drug. I remember every detail of it. I remember the scene, the key players, the dialog, the gun shots, the wounding, the works. I can even tell you the story of being wounded. But months of stuff that went on before this and the details bring tears as I remember them. And my empathy for others triggers the same kind of reaction when we get close to some of these topics.

I would never take drugs to try to remember anything. not a good idea.
I think like I said in another thread here that remembering is a good thing in that we can deal with them. I think I said talking about it though. but if you remember then you can talk about it and deal with it then.
