So I submitted a post and re-read it (as usual) and found a typo (as usual) so I clicked the edit button.
It processed and processed, took a lot longer than usual, and when the edit window displayed, there was a (new?) section at the top with the option to delete a post????? YAY!! Is this new? Or was I just not seeing it before? How exciting to have the ability to delete a post! How long does this option remain available after submitting? ACK! I just did it again but the delete option was not there! I swore I saw it before. Was I imagining it?  Ugh, I feel silly. I wish I could delete this post now. Yep, just tried it again. Nothing. Darn. |

Hello!
If you start a thread you will not be able to delete it but you can edit it. You would need to get a moderator to delete your thread. When you reply to a thread though you have up to 4 hours in which to delete or edit it. Hope this makes sense.

ohhhh! OK - so that is the difference. Thank you Pegasus.
That does help.  I never knew I could delete a response. I thought the mods had to do it. I guess I wasn't paying attention.  I feel like such an idiot sometimes. oh well. |
