I'm new to this forum. I'm searching my local area for a psych and want to take in the results from the Adult ADD test. When I click on View, all I can see is the rating I received, but I'd like to see all the questions and answers and print them out. Can someone please give me instructions. thanks.

I haven't actually tried this with the ADD quiz. With some other tests, though, if I fill in my answers and click the "Print" button on my browser before scoring, I do get a printout of the whole page including my answers. I did try the "Print Preview" function just now (viewing only, not printing) and it showed that I'd apparently get just what you were looking for if I were to go ahead and print.

There's a slim chance that your browser has your filled-in but unscored test still cached and you can get back to it. More likely, you'll have to fill it in again so you can print it. Good luck!
Thanks for this!

*Thanks* for your reply. I am getting very annoyed with this site (though I remain hopeful that it will end up be a very helpful place), I'm having a very difficult time even responding to posts -- I'm not getting the same kind of 'reply' box I'm used to from other sites.

In regards to the quizes, I would think being able to print it would be an easy task & something that would be encouraged; it gives people a tool to take into their doctor. I'm having a hard time communicating with mine and am searching for a new one.

I remember, when I was new here, being bewildered by all the different options I had for doing everything. It took me a while to (a.) find out that there were actually many ways I could end up with the result I wanted, only some were a little more convenient than others; and (b.) settle on the "options" settings that suited me best.

I know other members have had these questions too (and Rainbowzz has already written tutorials to answer some of them). Let me see if I can make a start on "how to reply":

I like to quote earlier posts a lot, and preview before posting, so I mostly use "Reply with Quote" instead of "Quick Reply". If I do start out in Quick Reply and change my mind, though, I can easily "Go Advanced" without losing what I've started to write:

I personally prefer the "text" mode for editing but some users like the "What you see is what you get" (WYSIWYG) mode better. You can switch back and forth between them with this control:

As far as I can tell, regardless of your other settings, at the bottom of every post you can reply to you'll find a set of buttons like these...

... though if you've selected a different appearance ("skin") option, the same set of buttons may look like this instead. I think this appearance is called "Teal/Black":

The button marked "Reply" (or "QUOTE") above is the one I almost always use for replying. I think you'll find it gets you where you want to go.

In principle you can post or reply without ever using formatting tags, or use the editing controls above the reply box to insert the tags for whatever effects you want. I like sometimes being able to work with the actual tags myself, so I keep this reference page bookmarked: BB Code List.

The way I like to learn this stuff is by trying it, previewing whatever I just did before making it permanent, and if I don't like what the preview shows, backing up and trying again. Good luck!
Thanks for this!

Does this link work for you? View Saved Quizzes

It does work for me. I got to it by clicking on "My Profile"...

printing out quiz results

... then scrolling down the left column to the Your Quizzes section.

Fool Zero, for me even if I view my saved quizzes it only shows the results not a way to click back to the answer/score sheet. After a couple of times I did just what you suggested to AuntSusie above. It is a tad frustrating but something I figured out and am OK with so long as i eventually got the desired result. For me too this forum is quite unlike others I've frequented (I've been doing forums for 10 years or longer - since I was pregnant with my first child who is going to be 10 in October!!), this format is like none other, you're right it does take some getting used to. But taking the time to get used to it is sooooooo worth it!!!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
