Based upon member request, we've added the topic of Goal Setting to the Sharing Self-Help Ideas forum:
http://forums.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=37 This is now the place to not only share self-help ideas with one another, but also your goals in recovery or treatment, and your progress in reaching them. Best, DocJohn

I have a question. One of my major goals in my life right now is around weight loss and exercise. I'm trying to lose a lot of weight, although I'm being sensible and doing it with a dietician's help. I'd like to start a thread to keep track of my progress, which would include weight #'s.
Is that ok? I only ask because I belong to another board that doesn't allow you to post weight numbers because they could be triggering to people recovering from ED's? Thanks. Splitimage |

Yes, which means the new Goal Setting forum is a perfect place where you can start a thread to track your weight and post those numbers.
You can also use the "Daily Mood" tool to do so as well. After you click on a mood, it allows you to add a note to that mood. You can put anything you want in that field, including something you're tracking, like your weight. This is private info, and may be more appropriate for some folks. Best, DocJohn
