Why don't my posts show up after I post them (at least on my computer)? My message Editor Interface I've flipped around & is now back to Enhanced Interface. Which is what was the suggested fix that I found for this. I was having massive problems with my ISP, but I have switched (twice actually), cleaned my cookies, cleared my cache, defraged, & checked for viruses ect. I tried standing on my left foot while crossing my eyes & sticking out my tounge & even THAT didn't work...... any suggestions???

For an older member with more than a dozen posts to their name, it's likely just a problem with how your web browser is caching the page you're posting to. If you clear the web browser cache -- or try a different browser altogether -- this problem should be cleared up.
Also, you'll need Javascript enabled for some of the functionality of the site to work in the way it was intended. If you have this disabled, you can enable it just for our site, or put up with the site not quite working right. For a brand new member, we moderate all new posts up to the first 5 to ensure you're not here to advertise (e.g., a spammer). While this can be a little annoying to have to wait until a human reads your post, it keeps our community safe and ad-free. Best, DocJohn

Normally, after you click "Submit" you get taken back to the thread with your post showing. What happens for you? I wouldn't think you'd be likely to get an old (cached) copy of the page from before you posted unless your browser was very confused. For one thing, the URL for the latest page would mention your post by number (and no such post number would have existed earlier) so there couldn't very well be anything in the cache with that same URL. Specific example: after I posted this I got taken to the page http://forums.psychcentral.com/showt...42#post2007442If you do get what looks like an old page, two questions:

FooZe: I'm running IE 9.. I used to be able to see my posts right after I posted them, like you're saying. This just started a couple of months ago.
Lostime: I have Java, but I went out & found it hadn't been updated in a while, so maybe that was the problem. I'll find out when I post this..... I really appreciate everyone's input on this.... ![]()
