Any time I try, I get this response.:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

What does this mean?

I'm sorry you're having that problem, Calista. I can't promise I'll be able to figure it out but... perhaps you could tell me in more detail what you're doing. For instance: are you trying to include a picture in a forum post? To add one to an album? To update your profile picture?

Where's the picture now, that you'd like to post or upload? What steps do you take to tell PC (and/or your computer) where to find it? Does the same thing happen no matter what picture you choose or where it's coming from?

If you gave me enough information, I'd want to see what happened if I tried posting a similar picture (or the same one) more or less the same way.

Thanks FooZe. I am adding photo's to an album. I'm getting the photo's from my computer. When creating a new album you'll see "browse" and it taked me to my photo library. I choose one and attempt to upload and I get the above messages.

Darn! I just uploaded a pic to my album and didn't get that message.

One other possibility occurs to me but I'm not sure if it applies to uploading pictures. Some members with special characters in their username can't get into regular chat (and have to use no-popup chat instead) because something in the system can't process their username correctly. I wonder if it's the + in your name that's causing the "security token" message.

I found more references to picture uploading and security tokens in this thread.

DocJohn mentions picture (file) size issues. I was wondering about that too, and even tried uploading a pic last night that was a little over the stated limit. It apparently got resized without a hitch.

I'm afraid I'm stumped for now. Sorry, Calista.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
