Even though I click "remember me" I have to log in every time. Even though I select "Spring" as my background theme, it reverts to the DEPRESSING "desert sand" every time I reopen. I also want large font permanently--same thing. I can't seem to find a "save changes as default" or something. Help, please? Love you guys!

Could that have something to do with the cookies settings in your browser? "Remember me" works consistently for me except on the rare occasions when my anti-spybot app has found and removed something suspicious. Then I find myself logged out of all or most my "Remember me" sites and have to log in again.

It's been a while since I tried any "skins" other than the basic (default?) one I started with. I seem to remember that the "Forum Skin" selector in Edit Options has worked more reliably for me than the one at the bottom left of every forums page. With the "Edit Options" one you do need to save changes.

I don't remember seeing any way to save your font preferences when you're posting. Font size when you're reading is usually a browser setting.
Thanks for this!

As a side note, the "remember me" option when logging in is so you won't get disconnected from the server if you are idle for too long. Writing a long post or pm will be considered being idle. The "remember me" option does not necessarily mean that when you leave the site (without logging out) that you will automatically still be connected.

As far as I can tell, if I leave PC without logging out, or if I keep a PC page open but step away from the computer, or if I work busily on a post without clicking any links for other Forums pages, after an hour I'll automatically get logged out. The difference is that next time I do click on a Forums page, if I have the "remember me" box checked I'll get logged back in automatically and not notice I was ever logged out. If I don't have it checked, I'll get taken to a log-in page (and in the process may lose the post or PM I was working on).
