I'm sure you've heard it a million times before.
 Anyway, whenever I try to connect to chat, I get a blank grey screen. I have tried on two different operating systems and two different browsers. I am thinking it might have to do something with my Internet connection (via a proxy). However, I've noticed that if I try to connect to chat without the added paramaters, I'll get to a login box. Obviously I can't connect using that box (it's disabled), but it attempts to connect. So what is preventing it from working when paramaters are passed? If I lost you with talk about paramaters: http://chat.psychcentral.com:8080/?0...chcentral.com/ Normal chat link with paramaters http://forums.psychcentral.com:8080/ Stripped version I know very little JavaScript, but I do know that code looks horrible. (How can you have the whole application in two lines? Whenever I wrap the text in a program to make it legible, the program goes crazy.) If I ever get on a computer with a different connection, I'll try again. |

I can't connect to the demo on the RealChat website, either. Bummer. Guess I can't chat.

Chat requires a direct connection to your computer in order to work; that's just the way it's coded. So sitting behind a proxy server is likely to be a no-go, sorry.
