Sorry I can't recall what it's called... the blank little window where you type in the internet address where you wish to go??? It's gone. I have no idea how I got rid of it, but I've clicked on "everything" but what I need to...to get it back. Please help.

Hi Sky, what type of browser do you use?
I can try to help you out, but only if you've got IE, don't have knowledge of other browsers.

I know in Mozilla, you'll click on "view" at the top, then "tool bars". Make sure that "navigation toolbar" has a check beside it.

OK. With IE, do the same but make sure that "address bar" has a check in front of it.

whew. THANKS. IDK but it put it into my YAHOO tool bar instead of the ISP's (which is what I thought I clicked on.. but no matter I now can type an addy in without having to do the search and click dance.

oh it still isn't right...but usable. seems I've lost my ISP task bar, even though I can click on one line... hmmm wonder how I messed this up? Depression I guess. maybe some other time.

I have done this somehow too from time to time. Usually disconnecting from the internet and going back in restores it.
From the view tab - toolbars - is "lock the toolbars" checked?

would I want to lock them NOW that it isn't right? IDK. I thought maybe Yahoo took over and that's why I can't find my ISP toolbar.. but now looking at it more and more, it looks like I've just lost the first few inches of the toolbars? Sigh. I'm too depressed to figure this out. hmmm

Hovering over the tool bar to drag it back doesn't work! I can do this in all other applications.
I don't know .... if anything pops to mind, I'll let you know. Sorry you're feeling so down.

I can go up to the far left of the tool bars and get a horizontal alignment arrow, meaning I should be able to lengthen or shorten it...but can't. IDK.

lol - I don't even get the arrow. There is no option for me to move or adjust the toolbar at all.
I hope it gets figured out though.

Well, going into the VIEW tab helped. I have locked those options and toolbars (I have 4 uptop now) and then I had to drag my ISP link to the bottom and also locked that there... we'll see if it shows up when I boot back up.
 but it's a different look . right now I can only care that it's all accessible right now. arrangement will come later. sigh. TKS!
