You are going to tell me they are volunteering and they can be here when they want. I'm going to tell you that there needs to be one here all the time. You will tell me that is not possible. I think you need more mods. Sorry for having an opinion.

Thanks for letting us know what you think about when the mods are here and when they aren't.

Yes, they are volunteer, so that means when they can be here is when they are here. There are no set hours to when they have to moderate. We all have our own lives as well.

The ideal situation would be to have someone here 24/7. Unfortunately, it's just not possible. We have many team members that are on the east coast of the US which means we work/sleep during the same times. We do have one mod that is from the west coast and they are here quite often in the wee hours of the night. We have some mods that don't sleep well and are online at different hours of the day and night.

Is there a particular issue that is bothering you and no one was online at that time to help you with it? Were you feeling unsafe at a specific time when you were online and no mods were here? You are more than welcome to send me a pm explaining that issue or situation. I'll be happy to talk with you about it.

To add: pegasus, there is no reason to be sorry for having an opinion.

Why don't you volunteer to be a mod pegs? (only joking)

Seriously though, Just a thought I think maybe mods should be made from different parts of the globe, Maybe then some would get online when others can't?

I'm not sure how we fix a problem like this. So while I appreciate the feedback, it's something I don't know how to implement easily with our current resources.

We do try and add on new moderators to help make the possibility of a moderator being online more likely, but there's a limit to how large we can make the team and still make it manageable from a volunteer standpoint.

Best,
DocJohn
