If someone does not come out and actually tell you they have you blocked, is there any way to find out if they have?

interesting idea..lets think about this for a minute how do you feel in your off line time and you know someone is not listening to you, turning their back on you, not talking to you..this may or may not be because of something you did or said, maybe its your parent or spouse or guy or gal you love, who may be just having a hard day but you dont know that all you know is this person is no longer listening and talking to you..

how would notifying someone that they are blocked make that person feel...

I dont believe we need to tell people when we have them blocked...this is a mental health website..many mental disorders come with the symptoms of fear of rejection, paranoia, abandonment and other issues that can get activated if they suddenly get a notice saying someone is ignoring them..

now to answer the question....no other members do not know when you have that member on "ignore" or in your words ...blocked. and you dont know when another member has you on ignore..

I know it may be a little nerve wracking if you are trying to contact a member who has you on ignore and they are not answering because they dont get to see the pms and posts you write but on the other side of things this member is doing what they need to do to keep their self safe and from being triggered here on psych central.
Thanks for this!
