I apologize for any ignorance in advance.
What is required (software or otherwise) in order to convert documents etc into adobe files?

adobe files are pdf files... I think adobe can do this for you ...I think...lol...I mean change a doc file to pdf...

There is an adobe reader that will read the files, but to have the capability of changing docs into (or just plain creating) PDFs, you have to buy the advanced and expensive software.

Thanks Rainbowzz - I tested it and it works really well.
Question though - is it safe? The work that I want to convert has a lot of personal info on it. If there is a question of safety then as Sky suggested, I should probably just buy the software. Otherwise this really worked great!
