Favicon = that little symbol in your tab that belongs to a specific website. For example, google's current one is a blue square with white "g".
The one for Psych Central looks like the rotating-circle loading animation for Google Chrome and just about any browser I can think of. Thus every time I glance at tabs of PsychCentral I think they're stuck loading. It's irritating. IMO that's an indication of bad graphic design and PsychCentral should consider hiring another graphic designer for a new favicon. |

Welcome to PC
I didn't know they were called favicons but I quite like PC's one.

I didn't know they had a name either. I'm with Sabrina on this one. I like PC's.

On my Safari it looks almost like an empty circle. Looks generic. I guess it has something around part of the circumference, but it is too small to see what it is, unless you look closely -- which I just did for the first time.

It is, but it doesn't make a good favicon, for the OP's reason. Maybe PC as a favicon? P in the blue, C in sepia/grey, whatever that is.

Hi folks, thanks for the suggestions. At this time, we don't have any resources to put into designing this 16px x 16px real estate.
Best, DocJohn
