On one of the forums I'm on for one of my physical illnesses, there is a "hugging" smiley. I would love to have one here! There are plenty of people here I would like to show some affection toward, but no one I want to use the "in love" ones on!

yup thats the one I like too. in fact I right clicked and saved to "my pictures" on it the first time I saw it in an email from a friend and now I can set it to be my desk top wall paper any time I need a hug from that friend.

For any smiley that you like (or pic) right click on the picture and then click on Properties. Highlight and copy, then paste the url address. Place image tags around the address with brackets [ image ] (no spaces) and then close the link with brackets [ /image ] (again, no spaces) Always preview your post to make sure only the pic/icon shows.
[ image ] http://bestsmileys.com/hugging/4.gif [/image ] (without spaces gives you : I use bestsmileys.com most of the time ( I have it's directory printed out even!) It is a free site, with specially made smileys and tags for forums and emails.

cool does this work for blogs too. I have been trying to get a picture from "my pictures" on my computer to paste onto my blog entry - Art Projects - but no go yet.

Hey how did that happen? I'm not anonymous but I did forget to sign in. I thought if you didn't you couldn't get access . Like I said I could lose friends REAL fast.

Sky I was on the smiley site the other day. i downloaded it but when they wanted to put a toolbar on my computer I freaked. I went right back in and removed it. Same thing I was exploring Hotbar. After I downloaded it I went and removed it.Too scary never knowing what might have come with the program.Also I have been trying to put an image on a couple on posts I was on but it hasm't worked. I pasted in and the image brackets look correct but it shows exactly that, the brackets and the url then I have to go back and delete it all.

oops kinda big but Thank you so much I love it and already added it to my favorites list. Its hard when I am trying to learn my way around and I don't understand terminology. I thought I understood about the brackets but it wasn't working. Thanks Again Rhap I really appreciate it.
