any other way to NOT have seasonal greetings up top when logged in?

VERY triggering for many of us and shocking to see. also was there any greeting for non-traditional "religions"?

understand that some ppl enjoy this time of year and are centered on the birthdate in their religion.......

there also exist many who choose not to participate in these observances due to trauma, family history, personal reasons, etc.

for a site for support it was like a kick in the stomach to log in today and see only ONE greeting and it being for a segment of the population.......not for all.

honest question....real concerns.......and true horror Other than "block images from psychcentral.com"....

It's a "private" website for all it "allows" and encourages others to come participate. If seeing greetings of one sort or another bothers you and you don't want to work with/change your own perceptions and work through your triggers (instead of taking on the "world" outside one's self where one has no control) then I would take 3-4 days off?

I was a bit saddened to see DocJohn had pulled his dancing elfish Other than "block images from psychcentral.com".... I would have had no problem with a Happy Hannukah which is all but over now...and Kwanzaa hasn't begun but... np there either Other than "block images from psychcentral.com"....

I would think the elf might have triggered more ppl than the static greeting? IDK.

I usually use the greeting of what I celebrate, and expect the other to greet me with what they celebrate.

As for the original question, not that I'm aware of. TC (((zh)))

Sorry, __zh Other than "block images from psychcentral.com".... I have a "post-it" annotation program iMarkup and I could put a post-it note over the exact spot where something I didn't want to see was :-) You got any pop-up sort of software like that you could "stick on" overtop of what you don't want to see? Something like: http://www.mystickies.com/home
