Things started to go wrong at Christmas, I don't like Christmas anyway but this year was one of the worst ever.

And now my son has just walked away from me and I'm more lost and sad than ords could ever describe.

I made a post earlier today and it was blocked.

I need help

This is really bad news although I realize and even appreciate your caution, it couldn't come at a worse time for me.
Hugs from:

Hello TrixE, welcome to Psych Central.

It depends how many moderators are on as they volunteer for the role, they get to each one as quickly as they can. It is only your first 5 or so posts that are moderated but after that you will be able to post freely and use chat. I'm sorry you are having such a rough time, hang in there, you'll be able to post away real soon.

just a bit of info and tip.....once your post is on their boards there really is no way to know when someone is going to reply to you or if anyone ever will. thats the risk you take by posting on mental health boards. thats probably why the rules of the site are that this place doesnt take the place of treatment providers.

we dont deal with crisis situations (things that need immediate help) for that you will need to contact a treatment provider in your off the computer location.

what we do here is post what ever we want to share with people about our mental problems. then when and if others read the posts and if and when they feel comfortable to do so someone will reply whether they have had the same problem, what their own treatment providers called that problem, how they are dealing with that problem with in their self. sometimes we post suggestions which are in no way meant to be taken as a diagnosis or something you should do, only you and your treatment provider can say what your problems are and what you should do about them.

those that feel comfortable doing so sometimes click the thanks and hugs buttons to let the poster know their post was read by them, or to thank them for their help, or to give them a computer version of giving someone a hug.

we dont make diagnosis, we dont perform therapy on each other during crisis.

there is a grey box at the bottom of the page with all kinds of phone numbers for dealing with immediate crisis problems.
