How do you submit an article or essay to be published on psychentral main page. Seems like just anybody is writing things as I do not see any credentials after their names.

Ummm, we actually have a whole nice "About Us" section on the site that you can click on at the bottom of any page on the site. We worked very hard to create this section of information to help people understand what we're about, and how to send stuff to us for consideration. It also includes how to submit an editorial submission to the editorial team for consideration.

Everything published on the site is vetted by a team of people. We do, however, like to share a wide range of viewpoints, because everybody's voice is important and should be heard (not just those with credentials after their name).

It has only taken me 6 months, but I finally found that infamous "about us" page everyone keeps referring to.

This site is huge and full of so much. Today I shared with my therapist something I read here. She has been trying to teach me about breathing for a very long time. I read this Mindful Breathing | World of Psychology and finally got it. She will be sharing this with others like me.

Thank you for this site. I found it "by accident"
Thanks for this!

I looked all over for "about page". I felt like a damn idiot for not seeing it. I almost gave up. I did not think it would be in such small font way at the bottom of the page.

Sorry you had trouble finding it. The About Us section link is usually at the bottom of any website you visit...

I submitted something but from what I read if they decide not to use it I would not be notified nor will I be notified if they use it. So now I just keep checking the main page day after day for up to 3 or more weeks? Not sure how healthy that is.
