A member mentioned today in chat that she had recieved a warning in chat that they were on the verge of being banned. It was a red message similar to what shows when a mod kicks or bans someone from the room, but it was a warning. What is even stranger is at the time the member was being pleasant (as they always are) and there was no reason for such a warning. Is this a glitch with chat? If so, its making people edgy..

Flash chat has begun to predict false events in our future! So long as we don't implement this "glitch" into our robot technologies of the future we should be ok. I don't know who the person it was that was getting the warning messages...but perhaps they are John Connor and the message was from the future. We must protect them!

Yes, this message was complete garbage...lol...hope the problem gets figured out soon I could see that message giving people a bit of anxiety

i have pm'd docjohn about this and he says if you say the same thing more than once, as in spamming chat, it is an automatic response from the system. i had mentioned that this has happened to me and at the time i was not even speaking, so i am assuming that it is a glitch.

LOL. Yesterday chat didn't allow me to stay. Even if I talked it counted idle time against me and when it hit max, a screen came up saying I had idled too long and booted me. I wasn't idling, I guess the chat software hates me or something.

Thank you. This did seem to be happening in the chat room called Wonderful Wandering. Members were getting flash warnings by the system for seemingly insignificant reasons. This did cause initial alarm for members who were quite concerned about what they could possibly have said that was wrong, but it was figured out that this was in fact a glitch in the system due to the nature of the casual discussion followed by a "warning" which would not have been warranted. So whilst I appreciate it may have confused members and caused some upset to members who were the receipients of these flash warnings, I do not really believe that it is something directed at the members who were in the chat, when I was present, with whom I am thinking about with specific reference in my mind. I am unsure as to whether or not there was a review of this situation, simply because I have not noticed these flash warnings occur in Wonderful Wanderings for the last 48 hours, or, for further clarity, members of the room have not bought it to my attention that the flash warnings had occurred.
