I'm talking about the bar thingy along the bottom which showed a link to arcade and when your friends log on etc. It suddenly disappeared one day. I might have done it, and if I did, I don't know how to get it back on. Can someone please tell me how? I use Chrome.

I use FireFox and the bottom bar is gone from my screen too.

We removed that feature because of a security concern that wasn't addressed by the developers (and because few members used it). Sorry.

Is this something that can be brought back as I know for a fact there are many of us that did use this and very much miss it. I personally communicated with someone on a regular basis sometimes daily and it just is not the same as doing PM's. I truly would like it back can't explain but it meant a lot to me to have this line of communication. Maybe the developers could look into the security thing also. Thank you just wanted to say my two cents...

Well, I do know that a lot of people had issues with it in that sometimes you could be chatting away to someone and the other person wasn't even aware that you were there. It did seem to work well at the beginning and was handy to be able to chat easily while being on the boards. It is a shame though that many had issues with whether they were showing up or not.

You can go into one of the chat rooms, like the Coffeehouse (or even the Lobby), and open up a private chat window with that other person. So the same functionality exists today, just in a different place.

Yes I know you can but it is very hard for my computer to open those chat rooms because it is only dial up and that is the only thing I can get were I live ugh...
