Click on Private Messages up on the right under your name OR on the task bar on the far left where it says My Profile.

My Profile FAQ/Help Members List Calendar New Posts Search Quick Links DailyMood how to disable about me section? Log Out

That takes you to your control panel.... on the left side is a column where you may edit your details, profile, pic etc. Once you make the changes, be sure to go down as far on the page as necessary to "submit" or "save" them (I forget if it's the same for each item).

I dont see a way to hide the "about me" tab. most people just delete everything in that tab by clicking on the edit pencil\ stylus when in that tab. then saving when everything is blank. which will make it so that the only thing people will see when they go to your profile and click the about me tab is no information about you and what your mental disorders are.just everything set at nothing wrote and none for concerns.

i've done this, to remove the visitor messages but i can't find the part to disable the about me section, i always go back there and look, but i can't seem to ever find it under there..

i mean; control panel > settings and options > edit options?
i can't find disable about me part... that is what i was saying in the above statement.
am i making any sense? lol.

it just isn't there. i have seen some people have their about me disabled, was just wondering if i am missing where to look, i just checked again to make sure, it's just not there. dunno. haaaaaaalp, lol.

I don't think you can disable the "about me" part.

You cannot disable it (hide it) but you can delete it. ... under EDIT YOUR DETAILS...and delete the info.

If you find such a page, please let me know as it is not an option to remove the "About Me" section of your profile in our community. To me, a part of being a member of a community is sharing something about yourself, but there may be legitimate reasons a person doesn't want to do that. Sorry we couldn't help more...
