I can't remember how to befriend someone on PC. Is there a way for users to turn this setting off? Because I went to their profile and went under friends and couldn't find a link.

i'm not sure how to turn it off, but if you go to someone's profile, their is usually a link named "befriend such and such"

click on that and it asks you if you'd like to send a friend request to that person.

just say yes

using your profile as an example, the link to befriend someone is below the list of friends

The only thing it says under their friends is "Show All Friends".

Tried adding them through the buddylist option and not sure if it worked. It may have sent them the request. It shows them now on my buddylist but not on my friends on my profile.

scroll on the word my profile at the top of the page where you see a bar with forms social groups and so on. that will drop a box down. click on edit personal that will open your control panel on the left. click on contacts and friends. then type name in

or you can click on members name add to contacts.

or you can go to members profile click on user lists. click on add to friends list (this is the one I use)
Thanks for this!
