After I write a post I use spell check to make sure everything is spelled correctly, however, when it says it is completed and I close the window, my post still has the mis-spelled words. So I do a preview and change the mis-spelled ones again and yet when my post is reviewed and then posted some of the fixed words are wrong again. Even though there is a button for editing a post, most times I am not premited to do so. Why is is? And what am I doing wrong?

Yeah, it's never quite worked right. Using Spell Check I use it for showing me if I've missed a word...but still have to go into the text and physically change it.

You can edit a post up to 2 hours after you post it I think. (It used to be one hour?)

You have to post it before you can use the edit button. Is the delete button working for you or not?

I have not tried the delete button, as after I have written a long post, I just don't want to have to type it again. As for the copy and paste method, everytime I try that I lose my post all together. So I will do the best I can with it. I go to a different forum that has the best spell-checker I have ever come across other than the one in my computer.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
