Hi .

I can`t login with Firefox , and Safari is seeing questions marks where icons should be and like moods , icon for posts , who`s last posted , those are all ? marks.

I have cleared my cache and cookies and logged back in and same thing , it had never happened before.

I have not yet checked my MBPr , right now I am using my 2014 Mac Mini . OS 10.12.6 with Safari version 11.0.2

Thanks and please assist if possible

KP. is broken . well just a little

Hi,

Sorry I don't know what's happening, but I thought I'd mention that DocJohn explained the message dialog's spell check was no longer compatible with the latest forum software and had to be removed. It's in the other thread with some suggestions for browser-based alternatives.

I use a Mac but I don't think it had anything to do with the icons becoming question marks. That happened when the main server was changed.

I notice that many icons have now reverted to question marks, after having recovered from the server change at one time.

It means your computer isn't loading those images for some reason... perhaps a cache issue with your browser?

Hmmm. I cleared the browser history for "Today and Yesterday" and it cleared things up. I don't know why.

Possibly because your browser stopped looking for those images where they used to be and instead started from scratch, following the links to where the images are located now.

Lots of question marks are present again. I don't like clearing the browser history, since that affects lots of Internet sites that I don't want changed.

I still have the same or similar problems using Safari for the Mac. I have several other browsers and none of them show the same symptoms. I find that surprising.

Is it the default PC skin/theme you're using here? Or a different one?

Just pulled up the forums on a Mac here and all looks as it should. I think if this were a widespread issue, we'd hear more about it from folks.

Default.

In the list of forums, for instance, all the forums with new messages have the icon that says that, but the rest (no new messages) have a question mark.

There is something about Safari that is different from the other browsers.

Now all the question marks are gone, replaced by the icons that should be there. I didn't do anything...

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
