I managed to figure out (with help from a cleverer member than me aka TheLonelyChemist) how to delete visitor messages and deleted a couple, but when I delete messages it says this on my profile and it's worrying me in case I'm doing something "wrong"

The "current activity" thing is the thing that's worrying me, it says when I delete a visitor message that I'm moderating, I am not a moderator though so I don't understand why it thinks I'm moderating when I'm not a moderator

I'm just ticking the box on the right hand side of the message and clicking delete?

scrolling to the bottom of the page, there's a delete thing that I never seen before
When I click on it after selecting a message it shows this:

Sorry I can't work out how to do screenshots, I'm dumb, have to copy paste what I'm seeing, then it redirects back to my page and comes up with what I said on the first post

No, I know what you’re referring to. At what point in the process do you see “moderating”?

I think it’s probably fine and moderating just means editing here.

I see moderating when it redirects me back to my profile page after I tell it to delete a message, I got nervous because I probably broke it

"Moderating" just means you're handling your profile page, I wouldn't worry.

I would only worry if it let you delete things that others posted in places other than your profile.

Some odd messages come up sometimes. I just ignore them. And you're not "dumb". I don't know how to do screenshots either, and I'm not dumb .
