I just tried to respond to a thread and got this message:
"You have reached the maximum number of posts (6) allowed in a 1440 minute period for this forum." I'm confused. Is there a limit on posts for this entire site? Certain boards? |

Hm-m-m-m... I've never encountered this.
 And I couldn't find anything in the FAQ about it. But since you got this notice, I presume it must be the case. I guess I've never tried to post enough replies in one forum to get a message such as this. Hopefully one of the administrators will see this thread & provide an authoritative response. Thanks for mentioning it.

People who are new members are limited in the number of posts they can make per day until they reach a certain posting metric. This is one of the many ways we combat forum spam.
The OP is no longer in that usergroup, so they are no longer limited in the number of posts they can make per day.

Thank you both. I gave up last night and have had no issues today. I guess I am a bit too enthusiastic. Lol.

I didn't know there was the limit for new people either, but I can understand the reasoning behind it.
