My USB PB 'store and save' is not showing up in device manager nor in 'my computer'.There is a green light on the AC adapter but a constant red light on the 'store and save' itself .
I have tried disconnecting then waiting a bit and reconnecting in the hope it will be recognised as new hardware without success.

Would i be correct in thinking that the store and save has totally packed up and can not be fixed and that all the stuff on it (mainly mp3 collection) is therefore permanently lost.?

I wouldnt think that...but then again...have you tried things like going to my computer, or adding/removing hardware program on control panel?

Basically talking out of my a little here, but just trying to think of some ideas...

USB port on your computer could be faulty - can you try it on another port and maybe even on another computer?

Thanks Perna took a look at those and tried the things that were suggested without any luck.
Reading the posts it would appear that PB ' store and save' is a decidedly
below par product. I will certainly not be buying another one .
