Hi,
I'm a little embarassed to ask, but I am stumped in attempting to install Open Journal. I have installed other perl scripts in my cgi-bin and they run well, but in the instance of Open Journal my biggest problem is that I don't know how to access the form that inputs the data into the blog. I can't test it. When I type in my web address and then add: "/cgi-bin/oj.pl", I get an internal server error that tells me there are premature end of script errors. It seems like it should be pretty obvious and I'm completely missing something. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance... Michelle D. |

I am having exactly same troubles.
Have I (too) missed something or what's wrong? Any suggestions? |

Usually when that happens, it means that the script isn't referencing your version of perl properly or a needed perl module is not installed. If you have shell access to your account, running the script from the command line will sometimes yield more helpful information:
perl oj.pl I stopped development of OJ about a year or so ago and recommend that if you really want to blog, try out the open-source WordPress software: <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.wordpress.org/>http://www.wordpress.org/</A>
