Ok bear with me coz i'm not good at explaining techy stuff... ...the pc toolbar...that bit at the top where info runs along... i.e. the latest news in depression, why would therapist abandon me etc ...that keeps freezing up like every 30 secs or so...sometimes less...but when that freezes everything on my comp stops....page loading, posting replies, everything just stops. have to say this is only since i installed the pc toolbar...got no bugs, viruses etc...so...

It all appears to be sorted...fingers crossed. KD told me about ad-aware...which found and removed over 550 bugs. Christina & Orange_Blossom told me how to get rid of mywebsearch coz ad-aware said it was bad but i couldn't get it to delete. After all that...all was sweet except my comp was still freezing up every time my pc toolbar froze up. So i uninstalled it and that prob stopped. I've since re-installed it and ...grrrrr...it done it again but i found a way round it. I just had to disable the ticker on the pc toolbar coz that's what was freezing everything up. But it's ok so long as i keep the ticker disabled. I'm just wondering now if anybody else finds the ticker a problem? |
