I am really nervous about inpatient. Actually, pcp suggest and therapist agree. They dont think im safe by myself. I advised them will think about going in the next two weeks. I just dont want them to involuntary admit me.

I have a full time job. Taking off would be very hard to do. Just really nervous about tbe whole situation. Im truly not ready to go inpatient. Well, reason they "say" im not safe is due to my ideation which changed to something deeper, not eating, depression has hit rock bottom, sleep deprived, cptsd symptoms spiraling, etc. I know im having a very hard time, but dont want to miss work.

Feeling really sick, right now.

Sorry you are facing this choice right now. Do you think some time out of work now, might prevent things deteriorating further and preventing, maybe a longer absence from work?

Do your pcp and therapist know you well enough, to make you think, their advice is right for you?

Take care.

Thank you. SOUP, I really trust both of their opinions. I am going to hold off from going to inpatient. I am going to re build up my paid tiime off. Going to try to wait as close to january. Hopefully I can make it. Just trying to take one day at a time.

One day at a time sounds a good plan. Maybe just keep an open mind in terms of timescales?

Hope there are things you can do, to take care of yourself everyday? My T encourages me to tread carefully when things are tough and plan soothing things for myself.

Although it can be hard to motivate myself at those times, I do little things, like going out for walks and preparing my table when I eat, with fresh flowers, candlelit bath with music and snuggling up on the sofa with a cuddly blanket.

Wishing you well.
