Why is it when were tired and sad it seems so hard to deal with things? Why is it the more we try the harder we fall?
Why does it seem like we only go backwards and never forwards? Guess no one really knows. What people with anxiety don't realize is that if you dont get help the attacks will get worse and the effects stay with you alot longer....The problem is people with anxiety don't want to ask for help...So the cycle never ends and even if you think your better because you have a short time without attacks it will come back with a vengance. Healing is an ongoing process, a continual cycle to help with the cycle of anxiety.
I don't know why it's so hard to seek help; I think that a large part of it comes from believing that you don't have anything legitimally wrong when it is in fact a real problem. |

Hi ~ I know what you mean. For a long time, I suffered from anxiety and I felt foolish going to the doctor and telling her about it -- so I didn't for a long time. I figured she'd think I was nuts!
![]() Low and behold, she didn't think I was nuts. ![]() It's funny what we'll put ourselves thru just because of what we THINK will happen if we admit to being anxious. Our minds tell us such "stories" -- and 99% of these stories are pure bunk! lol I'm just grateful that 'something' gave me the nerve to go to the doctor. I hated feeling like that. |
