I'm not exactly sure if this is the right place to be posting this, but here it goes anyways.
I did something so freaking stupid yesterday. Something that I never thought that I would stoop so low as to do. Right now I can't stand myself and I feel so guilty and ashamed of myself, and god I just can't stand myself. I hate who I am and everything about me. I'm so stupid and pathetic. I feel disgusting and it's killing me to not cry right now....I just don't know what to do. I'm not making any excuses for myslef and I take full responsibility for it, but damn it! I never meant for things to go this way!! Sorry, just had to rant it out. |

Sounds like you are really down on yourself, Undertaker. Is there anything you can do to rectify the situation? taking any kind of steps to make it as right as possible may make you feel better.
Good Luck. I hope you get to feeling better soon. Dont be so hard on yourself. Remember, everybody makes bad decisions they regret. |

((Undertaker))
The cure to this guilt would be to apologize and take responsibility for your action/s. It's usually a very scary thought, but that's what works to get us through and boost self-esteem back up a little.

Sometimes doing something stupid serves as a painful reminder of why we won't do something stupid again. I've done some things that I'm not proud of, and memories of those things remind me that I really don't want to go back there.
If you can rectify the situation do so. If you can't at least learn from your mistake so you won't repeat it. At least you have a conscience to know it was wrong, and that's a good thing. Once you learned your lesson don't keep holding it over your head. Just be more aware if that opportunity pops up again and make better choices. Beating youself up over it won't help because you simply relive the experience and don't learn from it. Admit your mistakes, resolve to do better and move on. I do hope you can recover from this and get yourself back ontrack soon. |
