I am always afraid of failute and of the very ocassion that my boss will be dissapointed with me, so, starting to work in New Year with so many expectations is overwhelming to me.
I manage to be calm during Christmas, is the starting of the New Year that is making me anxious.
I will apreciatte any help from you.

When I am anxious about something new, I try to turn it around and tell myself I'm excited! I get to do something I have not done before and I am going to learn new things and have new experiences.

The future is unknown so when I think about it, I tell myself I might as well think good thoughts as bad ones since neither one is better than the other but the good thoughts are more pleasant and if what we think influences what happens at all, I'd rather good things happen than scary.

I usually think the worst and it never happens. Give yourself some credit I bet things will be fine and if they are not we usually deal with that too! I know I have to be nicer and get myself more credit because things seem to always be easier that the way I imagine them to be. relax think positive!
