People are always telling me I have anger issues. Not violence or anything like that but I think when I am stressed I seem really angry out of all proportion to the situation. But I don't FEEL angry, just stressed and like I am under attack from all directions.

I wish I could change this about myself because inside me I know there is a calm and happy person and that is what I want to show the world.

I often feel the same way you are feeling laralula. People are seeing me as being angry when I'm just overwhelmed with stress or anxiety.

It can help to find some sort of outlet for your frustration. Try some sort of exercise or art/writing to get your thoughts out. Maybe you could keep a journal. You don't have to write in it every day, but maybe it could be specifically for when you are feeling stressed.

I don't have issues with anger, but I do have stress/anxiety issues. At the suggestion of my doctor, I have just started looking into Cognitive Behaviour Therapy to help change the way I cope. Try looking at this website: http://www.getselfhelp.co.uk/ ...there are specific references to anger issues as well as anxiety and stress. Would be worth a try
