my name is kayla.

so today started as a good day, i got up and was productive, but i sit here and i feel so .. numb i guess. i dont feel happy for getting things done, i dont feel angry for fighting with my mom, sad because of the cuts on my arm, i feel nothing. is this normal? how do i change this? how can i change my way of thinking to be more positive? i want to take a nap, but i am trying to be productive and talk through this, that is a great first step right? so why dont i feel happy about that? im just so ..numb

You sound like you're really depressed to me.. Have you talked to your doctor? If I were you I'd talk to my doctor and see what he says. With any luck he'll refer you to a good therapist for depression. I think this is what you need. You need to be in therapy for depression. If he doesn't, he'll probably put you on medication for depression.

But at least see your medical doctor and see what he says, ok? I wish you the very best. Take care and God bless. Hugs, Lee
