I´ve been working on my self-esteem and confidence lately.
Sometimes I feel really good, positive and optimistic, I feel good about myself. Then, same day it can go way down again and I feel extremely low.
Next day it can be up again. And then down.
Why? Is it natural part in recovery?

It's hard to say the least. I have bipolar disorder so I go through that all the time. Have you ever went to a psychiatrist or therapist? These sounds like the beginnings to me but I am no doctor.

But when you are feeling low (especially about yourself) you have to just pick yourself up and do something. Anything. An hour ago I was in such despair. Then I forced myself out of bed and took a shower and cleaned my room. I made my bed, now I am just sitting up in a chair and the despair has left me and I am in a mellow state. Sometimes doing small things can really lift your spirits.

Try and remember that and keep posting!

It is really hard to pin point Why is it happens. I find myself going through the same emotions and in fact my fiance sees it alot too and just has now being making comments about it.

PlatinumHeart said it best, in these moments, as hard as it is, try to find something to lift you up. If you see a Therapist or Doctor, Talk to them about how you feel, and brainstorm ways to "cope" with these feelings Goodluck and know we are always here!!
