I was wondering if there was any link to depression and being paranoid? Or am I off base at all?

Why would you want to "link" to that? You are off base!

Well, often "depression and anxiety" go hand in hand. So I can see how someone might wonder if parinoia is involved. Sometimes if a person gets a better handle on managing "anxiety" better they find they have "less" depression.

Do you have a therapist that you work with?

Can be, here's a therapist's answer: Is Mild Paranoia Characteristic of Depression? | Ask the Therapist

Paranoia is a anxiety/thought disorder and depression can certain come up with some of those.

I do believe she meant "link between" rather than "link to"

I suffer from anxiety and depression, and am often paranoid, so I would say yes there is a link.
