I haven't felt excited or happy in 3months, its no that I don't want to, trust me I do. How can I get that feeling back? Also what could possibly cause me to lose these feelings?

I do not feel excitement or joy. Then again I do not have anything to feel excitement or joy about.

Rifle, are you seeing a therapist or pdoc? It would be worth discussing this with them. There are all kinds of reasons we don't feel certain emotions. It would be irresponsible for us to speculate why you are this way. I'm sure you can find plenty of folks here with the saqme problem though.

I've been feeling flat lately too. Now that I've brought it forward in my thoughts, it's time to think and talk it over with my T. I've had a lot of really bad experiences in the past 6 mos. and feeling numb is probably a coping mechanism. If I'd shown outwardly the trauma I was feeling inwardly, I don't think I would have been able keep it together. I really haven't been very functional, but emotionally I look ok. I am a very good actress when it's necessary.
