I don't feel real. I feel like I am someone in a temporary body, watching life happen though I can't get myself to catch up with reality. It is so frustrating. I want so badly to be present, to show emotion and make connections, but I just can't do it. And it scares me. But then I tell myself this is how I am meant to be. Maybe I am simply meant to be distant.
