Once I read something that said
"There is no time I feel more alive than when my heart is breaking." I never really thought about it until then, but that sentence made me realize how in the past few years I've learned to welcome pain, especially the one brought by heartbreaks, and rely on it as one of the very few emotions that made me feel alive. Anyone else experienced this? My roommate thought I was crazy when I tried to explain this to her. |

NewYork, I understand the strong emotions that come with heartbreak--it can be addictive because it makes us feel so alive. I seek out other highs because constantly seeking strong emotions through heartbreak can create a cycle of never ending breakups. Ultimately I feel alone after the high of heartbreak.....D.
