I feel like crying a lot of the time, and when I am alone I start crying. I did this today while my parents were out.

I hope it gets better for you soon. I have days like that, where I just tear up and have to fight back the tears, especially if I'm at work. If I'm at home I just go ahead and let the tears roll.

It crying is often an emotion that is shown and has to be dealt with, to make room for a new emotion. Maybe for healing, maybe for stress, maybe for new growth. I get this way some times and think WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME. I fret and cry and worry, panic, and wonder "am I losing it." Then it all seems to face and leave me minimally scarred to face the future.
We can only hold so much terribleness, and frustration, and stress, before something has to give. Usually crying is a way of your body finding a release that is not so easy to stop, so that room can be made for something new and usually positive. You have touched me IT, and I don't hug people but (((HUGS))), I can hug you this way. |

Feel lucky that you have found the release and ability to be able to cry. I don't know whether it's because of meds or because I'm so cut off from myself, but I can't physically let out any tears. My eyes will burn if I see something sad on TV but no tears will fall out. And when thinking about myself, I can intellectually see it is a time that I should be crying but am unable to do so, so I get anxious or angry or some other inappropriate emotion, then I take something to self-medicate away the feelings. Crying is good IT. Just monitor and note if it is excessive or if you're doing it at inappropriate times, like out in public.

If it goes on for a long time I would advise to get help. I was crying everyday for a few months and also feeling horrible and just really in my own head all the time. I was prescribed an SSRI and also did talk therapy and I still cry easily but not every day. Haha but sad TV shows always make me shed a few tears.
Best of luck |
