I'm a litle bit sad about this forum. I don't think that is a fault from the people who post around here..but I feel confused. I post around here and no one answers. I know my post are to big, but I can't make them smaller. And I feel some how frustated because I have to keep telling the same things. Because it doesn't matter how many times I have said one thing people will ask me the same questions. I'm looking for answears that no one could give me. I'm to demanding, of course there's no one who can know me in the forum, it's natural that people had forgotten or even had not readen what you have been wrighting, but it's still frustrating. And even so no one could give the answears I need, even doctors couldn't give it to me.
It's stupid, but I'm not finding the help I need. Sometimes just a short coment or a hugh would help, but few do that.

Hello Mulan-

I'm sorry if no one has responded to your posts. know it's hard when you need answers and feel that you're being overlooked. I can't speak for others on the forum but I think it's possible that many people would say that they have felt overlooked at times as well. There are so many people and so many problems and people do get inadvertently pushed to the side.

I know you said that you keep having to answer the same questions but if you wouldn't mind writing out what you are looking for once again I will try to help if I possibly can. Please try again.

Just because no one is responding doesn't mean they are not listening. Hey worst case scenario you are putting your needs on the computer screen and starting to unload them and best case scenario you are getting readers noggins joggin.
Thanks for this!

This is true, however, many of us feel very isolated without any support whatsoever, and to feel further rejected is very difficult to overcome.
Thanks for this!

Hi, I've never posted on this forum before but tried on a different one and I stopped posting as my replies never seemed to help. The number of times I want to reach out to try and help but am terrified of making things worse by saying the wrong thing. If you really want some support please don't give up trying to get it.

Sorry to hear you are feeling unheard.

It's so easy for postings to get lost in the shuffle. I, personally, when in certain forums, and on my laptop, will scan for 0's. If I feel unable, to respond right away, for whatever reason, I'll click thanks or hugs, to show acknowledgment.

I struggled with this, in another place, it felt so lonely, so I'd make a point, since it was formatted different, to send a greeting message, to mainly newcomers, since it would go to many members spam folders. I had to fix my email settings, to do this.

Sometimes, I feel here, it's about the busyness of daily life.

I'm not sure which posts nor locations your posts got lost. I Hope, in the future, you aren't left feeling so isolated.

Mulan, I am sorry if you feel overlooked or ignored, however, some people, like myself simply haven't occupied the same threads you post in and of those who have, they are probably seeking the same answers you are, and that is why they are occupying the same thread you are.

Most people on here do not know answers. We are all facing mental health challenges of one kind or another. We can offer "support" but not always answers. There is a big difference between support and answers. How much satisfaction you receive from any site depends on what your expectations or hopes are when you enter it.

The professionals are often the best people to turn to for answers. Resources can help you find information to better keep you knowledgeable on your condition and treatments and how to better understand your professional health care providers. It is those health care providers though or social program professionals who can direct you toward what you may need. Peers, such as members on this website or other support networks, can offer personal stories of experiences similar to those of your own and compassion for what you experience and let you know that others understand.

We all welcome you with open arms and hearts to feel comfortable in expressing your thoughts, feelings and opinions here and still hope that you think again about leaving Psych Central.

Many Hugs Your Way.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
