emotions are usally up and down, and i constantly worry about things....things i can't control, and it drives me crazy....and it leaves me in depression that its not going to be solved....they drain me of my happiness and energy...I don't want to tell my problems here..because it won't do any good for both parts of my side. But i wished i could just let it all go, and not worry anymore....if i don't worry then i don't things accomplished, which is another thing that keeps me on my heels.

Does anyone know how to manage this? is there like some way i can just let it all go?

Matt

Pick things to worry about and then make a list of things you can do to make the negatives less likely to happen or impact you as badly? Worry is about the future and thus in our imagination and we might as well decide what to imagine and how? So, if you have money worries or health, etc. start your day with a journal entry about all you are worried about (get it out of your head/heart) and then make a list and whittle it down to 3 things to do that particular day to help. When a worry arises during the day, be "polite" to it and tell it you are sorry but it's not on your list, maybe it will make it tomorrow? LOL Talking back to worries and treating them like they are not important and can be made fun of helps me with them.

I'm trying to he myself out of a rut with positive thinking. It is hard to make yourself believe and find the positive but I figure if rather repeat good things in my head than the negative. It takes effort but it can work. I still struggle. Open yourself to the possibilities of everything going right instead of wrong

Ask your self, is the intense anxiety relevant to present time?

yea definently.....making a blueprint and putting it on paper and mapping it out is a great way to deal with this...it's just i get confused sometimes really stressed out for thinking too much about problems, things i can't control, yet keep on worrying about it thinking the worry may help me get somewhere, nope its waste of time. I just need to get the worry cables and clank them off.....

thanks for the post!

positive thinking i hear from alot of people who coach people, the main thing is not being postive all the time because life is not all rosy dosy....and there are bad things that happen, and thinking postive things happen and then get suprised with negative events.....its gotta be adapted, both postive and negative in synergy.....

thanks my put on that.....

thanks!

Ordinary Anxiety causes much worry. Know that anxiety causes worry thoughts. Turn down the volume on your anxiety, and the worry thoughts will diminish. If the anxiety is to strong, seek counseling to investigate its reasons.
