my husband's unwavering support, Without him I'd be really sunk right about now. He's not around that much, but his presence in my life is comforting.

I am sure I'm not the only one, so lets share this and realize that if we think hard enough, something positive is happening in our lives right now.
You're alive. That's something. Our illness forces us to concentrate on negative feelings. It's rough, right? I am on overload with negativity. But I feel there are infinite things to be happy about, but w/ each of us it differs. I'm going out to eat right now, I have a wonderful husband, nice clothes, nice car, home...I'm SSOOO lucky THAT way. I know I'm sick, so I have to hold on. My husband deserves that. You deserve to be happy. Get busy doing something you like.

My husband bought himself this musical instrument and is making fruity sounds all over the house: Amazon.com: Nuvo N100CLPK Clarineo Kit with Case and Accessories - White/Pink: Musical Instruments

I was scared at first when the "brake noise" sounds came out of it. But then he learned how to do the embouchure. And I am passing on my scraps of musical knowledge to him. It's fun, despite myself. An escape for moments. He researched a lot before buying this thing. It's funny-looking but good quality and < 1/10 the price of the cheapest real clarinet you could get.

I have a roof over my head, even though it's my parents' roof. I could be a lot less fortunate. They are both in their late 70's, still together, still very active, and still very supportive of me. I have a cute little 13 year old Siamese cat that loves me. I hate cleaning up after him, but it gives me something to do I have my game, World of Warcraft, that I've been playing for over six years. I've made several friends through this game, a couple I would consider close even though I've never met them in person. I'm not the best player in the game, but I consider myself pretty good. I don't have a job right now, but I have plenty of money saved up from the one I just left. I have health insurance. The weather is getting nicer. I can walk. I can drive. I can hope. I can ramble !!

The biggest thing in my life right now is that my cat seems to respond well to his med. He has gone from a bit scrawny looking with quite rapid weight loss to almost healthy weight and his coat has gone so soft!

The good thing is that my friend came to take me to their home for dinner this evening.
I have been heretofore isolated way too long.

My best friend, we talk every day. Without him my life would be very different. The couple of hours a night I spend with him on the phone I look forward to all day.

The one person who I care about most (besides my mother and brother) gave me a special feeling when he looked at me... and I get to see him tomorrow!

The biggest good thing in my life right now is Maddie my close, best friend. The girl who saved me from myself during my high school years. I most likely wouldnt be here without her. Im very thankful of her support and encouragement. Especially during my hard times, shes always there for me.

My wife, the roof over my head, my pets, and my job (though the last one is iffy!).

My husband, who keeps sticking by me through thick and thin (most recently it's been pretty thick with my depression).
