Admittedly, every time that I was ever hurt by a word, it was because at least there was a grain of truth in it.

And that's the self-pity inducing part. I'd like to believe in a black and white world where the people who wronged me were a bunch of 100% evil comic book supervillains and where I did nothing wrong, but I know that's not the case, and this is a situation where I know I brought on a lot of things on myself, but that I was treated way too harsh in proportion to my sins, which were more annoying than harmful.

Here's another bump I made so I could try proving my point: this all happened at a time when I was fake and annoying. The harshness was excessive, but would you really enable someone who believed they could BS their way into social acceptance?
