I don't know if this is out of the ordinary but I like the sharp heart pains from feeling sad. I often imagine scenarios which causes me to feel really sad so I get the sharp heart pains.

I wish I could stop doing this because I would imagine that this isn't healthy for my heart but I have been doing it my whole life so I can't stop....

Nothing wrong with feeling the feelings of your Heart. Remember there are other feelings of the Heart you can feel and go with. It does not always have to be sadness.
