I can feel a hurt inside but I'm not sure why exactly I'm feeling it. I'm by myself a lot and this weekend have no plans to see anyone. I've realised that my family of origin neglected me.
I wanted to get in touch with a friend, but I don't think that they are available and the friends I have all seem pretty busy. I've had a bath, I've eaten something healthy and had a drink. Can someone help with a suggestion for what to do when feeling like this and how to process this hurt? I think I would really like a hug. |

My favorite way is journaling. Write it all out.

Thanks for your replies. It helped to acknowledge how I was feeling and I ended up trying both - I took a journal and went to a coffee shop and wrote for a while. Then I went for a walk through the local park.
JanAlvin - thanks for encouraging me to reach out and the suggestion to see somewhere different. I will try and ring a friend later and will have a think about where else I can go. It was again a beautiful day today so it was nice to be out for a while. Thanks again. |
