Everyone is told this at one point or another. Everyone is unique and different. Keep in mind when people insult or criticize their statements usually say more about who they are and where they are at then you. Just try to remember that.

Yeah I've been told this as well with the "wtf *are* you" look in tow. It took time to realize its not the humor or even myself that's weird. It depends on 2 things. 1) Timing of said jokes and 2) who you're with.
It did make things more complicated that I had a " attitude". I think you might want to try and be more aware of how you project yourself. Hope this helped |

Guys, you are not alone. I usually see shoked faces when I opened my mouth, so I wasted a long time avoiding to open it up unless I'm very sure that I'm not going to say a nonsense.

I guess it says stuff about themselves. Like sparks says. Though is there ever a time where someone is safe to be myself around? No? okay.

I think most people hide their true selves in social situations. Unless you're with a very close friend who knows you well, it's always been easier for me to just be pleasant and not open up much.

Close friends are sort of a trick though. I almost don't want to call anyone a close friend because they can easily hurt you by being "close." Not like I even have any friends at all though.
