Situation: talking with anyone, I feel like I'm on mute to them. I will be talking with a person actively and they will actually talk OVER me, or interrupt mid conversation to talk to someone else. I am NOT long winded, I can tell and respect when someone is in a hurry or doesn't want to talk. But this usually happens when THEY start the conversation and to me, its f-ing rude. Even on here, I seem to be falling on deaf ears (er..blind eyes?) Just sick of it..not sure what it is. Thoughts?

Try and have stand-back look at dear self's behavior
with others; are you giving out signals that you are
not important or are easily talked over because of
own lack in communication skills? Look to see
what YOU could do differently.

What? Did you say something?
Do you have a soft voice? When I was a kid I had something similar to this going on. A lot of times when a group of people would be talking I'd say something and no one seemed to hear. My best friend, who happened to be a loud person and usually standing right beside me, would then say what I had just said and everyone would think it was so witty or funny
I found out later that I talked unusually softly and people had difficulty hearing me clearly Just a thought. You could just be hanging out with some rude & thoughtless people?

I do speak softly. But its "Everyone". Not just one or two people. Bluedove, I appreciate the response but youre suggestion is...what exactly? Ive already said my behavior and conversation is appropriate to the time, place, and person. So....
Thank you George, I will try and not speak so softly

Those who do that, and talk over you are immature and manic. They do not want to slow down and listen to anyone. So do not take it personally.
Thanks for this!
