how will i know if im depressed? I know i can go to the doctor but what if there's no need. My emotions are all over the place and i feel sad quite alot. Ive been through some relationship turmoil (divorce) over the past year or so which is now over, but it cant be because of that, can it? it was a year ago. At first I thought it was PMS as it was only certain time in the month but now there's no rest from the roller-coaster emotions. Its all the time.

Can it be depression even after all this time since my divorce?

It could be triggered by your divorce, or it could be hormones. No one but a doc can tell you that (knowing the whole story) but they get it wrong too.

Have you tried some online CBT or DBT courses or skills? There are a lot available online. They might help if you are not keen to go to the doctor.
